We are absolutely chuffed to announce that the Spanish Australian Preschool has joined the Galileo Early Learning family!
The Spanish Australian Preschool is a unique educational centre that delivers the Australian Early Years Learning Framework in a bilingual (Spanish/English) and cross-cultural environment. An initiative of Bilingual Schools Australia, we provide children with the opportunity to cement their knowledge of Spanish and English while travelling through their early years. We offer a holistic approach to education with experiences planned with the children at the centre of our program. Our bilingual program is enriched with music lessons, yoga and art. We are a Child Care Subsidy approved provider. You do not have to speak Spanish or belong to the Hispanic community to attend.

They operate two highly-regarded early learning centres and are committed to maintaining the unique character of each whilst providing enhanced support and resources.
Programme & Curriculum
Q: Will the bilingual Spanish-English programme continue?
A: Absolutely! The bilingual programme is the heart and soul of our preschool and will continue to flourish. In fact, we’re exploring ways to enhance the bilingual experience with additional resources from Galileo.
Q: Will there be changes to the curriculum?
A: The core curriculum remains unchanged, with the same commitment to bilingual education and cultural immersion. Galileo will gradually introduce some complementary approaches that align with their educational philosophy, enhancing rather than replacing what we currently offer.
Q: Will cultural celebrations and special events still take place?
A: Most certainly! Traditional celebrations and cultural events remain an essential part of our programme. We’re planning to expand our cultural calendar with even more enriching experiences.

Q: Will the teachers and staff remain the same?
A: We’re delighted that our wonderful teaching team will continue their journey with us. Your children will see the same familiar, caring faces each day. Galileo values the expertise and passion of our educators tremendously.

Q: Will operating hours remain the same?
A: Yes, our operating hours will continue as before. We understand the importance of consistency for family routines.
Q: How will this affect my child’s daily routine?
A: Your child’s daily routine will remain largely unchanged. Any minor adjustments will be implemented gradually and thoughtfully, with your child’s wellbeing as our primary concern.
Enrolment & Administration
Q: Do I need to re-enrol my child?
A: No re-enrolment is necessary. All current enrolments will transfer seamlessly to Galileo management. We’ll contact you if we need to update any information.
